An awareness seminar was organized by Election Commission of Pakistan in collaboration with Director Students Affairs today at the Women University Multan in which brief lecturer were given regarding electoral process.
The special guest of the seminar was Registrar Dr. Qammar Rubab. Elections are considered as the base of democracy and it cannot run without the participation of people at large and the person who deny for casting vote also denies the fundamental rights.
It is hard hitting to witness that a number of youth do not participate in electoral process, adding that Vote is a fundamental right of any citizen that enables them to choose the leaders of tomorrow.
He said “Election Commission of Pakistan, the top poll body of the country with an important goal of the 5-year strategic plan.
