ISLAMABAD – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday cancelled the arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court passed orders on a plea seeking suspension of the arrest warrant issued in a case registered at the I-9 police station against Ali Amin Gandapur.
Ali Amin Gandapur surrendered before the court, saying that he was unable to appear due to official engagements.
During the hearing, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa asked the court to cancel the arrest warrants.
The court accepted the plea and cancelled the arrest warrants.
It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur had filed a request to suspend the arrest warrant issued in a case registered at the I-9 police station in Islamabad.
