KABUL – At least 15 people were killed and more than 30 others injured after two blasts hit a military hospital in the Afghan capital on Tuesday.
The explosions occurred at Afghanistan’s biggest military hospital followed by gunfire inside the building of the medical facility.
Interior ministry spokesman Qari Saeed Khosty confirmed that the explosions took place at the entrance of the 400-bed Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital.
However, he did not confirm causalities, adding that security forces have reached place.
