An accountability court on Monday granted permanent exemption from appearance to Saeed Ahmed, the co-accused in reference against Ishaq Dar in assets beyond means case. The court granted permanent exemption to former president of the National Bank of Pakistan Saeed Ahmed from personal appearance on medical grounds. The suspect had filed a petition in the court maintaining that he is suffering from various diseases. Arguments could not be completed over National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Investigation Officer (IO) Nadir Abbas’s statement. The hearing was then adjourned till March 4.—INP
