Punjab Minister for Industries & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal met the heirs of deceased of three persons at his camp office who died due to collapse of a building in Pakki Thatti Samanabad.
The Minister expressed his deep grief and condolence with the heirs of bereaved persons over this tragic incident. He distributed cheques worth Rs10 lac approximately among the heirs of deceased persons.
Aslam Iqbal regretfully expressed his heartfelt sympathy over the loss of precious lives due to collapse of a building. He further added that he equally shares his sense of sorrow with the grieved families.
The Minister remarked that financial assistance is no substitute for anyone’s precious life, however, it will alleviate the sufferings and distress of the affectees. He also offered Fateha for forgiveness of the departed souls.
Those who received financial assistance cheques included Waqas Sharif, Khurram Sharif, Muhammad Ikram and Muhammad Aslam.
