Asad reiterates moral, political and diplomatic support for IIOJK dispute

Pakistani Consulate General in New York has organized a webinar, “Kashmir’s Continuing Ordeal: A Year After August 5, 2019″ in connection with Youm-e-Istehsal.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Asad Majeed Khan reiterated strong commitment of the government and people of Pakistan to continue extending moral, political and diplomatic support to the occupied Kashmiri people.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s stance for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. Asad Majeed said that human rights violations in Kashmir valley are carried on daily basis by India government.
It is to be mentioned here that the people on both sides of Line of Control (LoC) will observe Youm-e-Istehsal on Wednesday(August 5) to mark the first anniversary of India’s illegal action of scrapping the special constitutional status of Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
One minutes silence will be observed in the morning to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris.—INP
