Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has declared the alleged audio leak of former finance minister Shaukat Tarin as fake, saying that it was an old habit of the PML-N to cut and paste videos and audios.
Addressing a press conference while responding to the leaked audio call, he questioned that whether it is wrong to seek concession from the IMF due to the floods.
“Taimur Jhagra has written a letter to the federal government in which he sought time for a meeting,” he maintained.
Asad Umar said that the government wants to control Imran Khan by raising a new issue daily. “Hopefully, the IMF Board will approve the loan today,” he added.
He said that the federal government had already demanded time and it was responded positively; however, it could not be responded so far.
“These people are under the influence of the power and they do not bother about the IMF deal,” he maintained.—INP
