A delegation of Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisation called on APHC-AJK Convener Muhammad Farooq Rehmani and other leaders Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Shameem Shawl and Altaf Ahmad Wani.

The Malaysian delegation was led by Azimi Bin Abd Hamid and it comprised Vaqar Ahmed Bin Muhammad and Mrs Azimi. The two sides exchanged views on latest political and human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in the aftermath of repeal of Articles 370 and 35A by India on August 5, 2019.

The Malaysian delegation ensured worldwide support for the cause of Kashmir.

The APHC leaders briefed the delegation on India’s brutal laws extended to Kashmir and said that New Delhi was fast moving on the path to a Hindutva State. They also informed the delegation about genocide threat to Kashmiri Muslims at the hand of India.

The Malaysian Islamic Council said that they would raise Kashmir issue as a humanitarian issue at different forums and apprise Malaysian members at the OIC about the plight of the Kashmiris under the Indian occupation.
