Regrets opp hells bent-on damaging national interest for their vested interest

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday regretted that unlike worldwide changes taking place rapidly, Pakistani opposition has failed to change its negative political behaviour for prosperity of the nation.
“The opposition is using all its energies against the government but has faced defeat on every front.”
The chief minister said that the AJK elections have exposed real faces of the opposition parties who are hell bent-on harming national interest for their vested interest.
“The leaders making tall claims failed to utter a single word in favour of Kashmiri brethren braving worst brutalities at the hands of occupying forces in Illegal Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir”, he pointed out, adding that it seems both the PPP and PML-N leadership is carrying forward agenda of Modi.
The chief minister said the opposition has tarnished its political future through the politics of allegations, adding that political future of the opposition is bleak as the people have rejected them. He emphasised that trustworthy and genuine leadership is the true future of the country.
“The new Pakistan is being transformed under the leadership of PM Imran Khan where corrupt elements have no political room”, Usman Buzdar declared, adding that Pakistan will succeed in its struggle against the corruption because this struggle, is in the fact, for the survival of the country.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar appealed to the citizens to remain careful as the number of Corona patients is increasing due to the fourth corona wave.
The CM maintained that the citizens can avoid this virus by following the SOPs as it is in their interests.
“Everyone should display responsible social behaviour as the disease is spreading. The people should vaccinate themselves and wear masks as the government could adopt stern measures for protection people’s lives,” the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, the first ever two days orientation module on Performance Audit for Probationary officers of (PA&AS) was successfully conducted by Directorate General Performance Audit Wing, Lahore under the umbrella of Auditor General of Pakistan.
This course was attended by 17 Probationary officers from 48th STP. Director General PAW Sami Ullah Teepu in his address highlighted importance of Performances audit within particular reference to the expectation of stakeholders from audit.
He stressed that in this new challenging environment the responsibility of auditor has increased manifold. This new course was specially designed for the trainee officers to enable them to have an overview of the performance auditing.
The training module was well planned & it comprehensively covered all the important areas of Performance auditing.
The purpose of the course was to highlight the concepts of economy, efficiency and effectiveness in public sector. Performance Auditing provides a basis for the improvement of public sector management.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of four army jawans in a road accident during election duty in Azad Kashmir.
The CM expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the heirs of martyrs and prayed for early recovery of the injured persons. Usman Buzdar said that he equally shares the grief of family members of the martyrs.
