Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) sharing an update on submarine cable fault said that work was completed last night and all telecom services were operational as per normal routine.

PTA earlier made a statement on Wednesday, saying: “A submarine cable fault was reported Tuesday near Fujairah, UAE due to which some users may have faced degradation in services.

” “The faulty cable segment has been repaired and work is underway to make the services fully functional,” he added. “PTA is monitoring the situation and will continue to update on it,” the PTA said.
