All officials to hold ‘Open Kutchery’ in Police Circles on weekly basis

Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar has directed all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) to hold ‘Open Kutchery’ in their respective area on weekly basis and enhance interaction with people to resolve their problems on immediate basis.
Following these directions of IGP, SDPO Koral Circle ASP Zohaib Nasrullah Ranjha organized ‘Open Kutchery’ in his area which was also attended by Station House Officer (SHO) of Koral police station Alamgir Khan, Duty officers and other police officials.
Zohaib Ranjha listened to the problems of the people and issued directions to promptly resolve them as per satisfaction of the complainant.
Likewise, Assistant Commissioner (Saddar)), SDPO (Saddar) DSP Khalid Mehmood Awan organized the ‘Open Kutcheru’ in their area which was attended by SHO Tarnol police station Inspector Arshad Ali and other police officials.
Khalid Mehmoood said that Islamabad police is taking every possible step to ensure community policing and the force requires the cooperation of citizens for effective policing
He was of the view that public cooperation is vital for effective policing and crime can be controlled through involving community in policing affairs fairly.
The DIG (Operations), Waqar Uddin Syed, said that Islamabad police is committed to provide justice to people at their door step as per vision of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiiqar. He said that every possible effort would be made to ensure protection to the lives and property of the citizens. The DIG (Operations) said that citizens have also hailed this ‘open door’ policy of Islamabad police which is definitely helping to increase the confidence of people on police.
