Azad Kashmir Assembly is meeting on Tuesday morning in Muzaffarabad to evolve consensus policy platform to tackle extraordinary situation arising out of Indian government’s latest anti-Kashmir steps that bifurcate the State of Jammu and Kashmir annexing Ladakh directly to Delhi. Incarceration of heads of all political parties in occupied Kashmir by India has added fuel to the public anger. Kashmir Valley and adjoining areas are fully curfewed, internet services have been closed. Assembly session expected to be addressed by Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is set to approve a joint resolution on occupied Kashmir situation. India in violation of all UN resolutions on Kashmir has abrogated constitutional Article-370 and 35-A which had guaranteed special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
