Agreement signed with ASSL to start Air Ambulance service in Sindh

The Local Government Council Association (LGCA) and Aircraft Company ASSL signed an agreement to start free Air Ambulance Service in Sindh. A ceremony was held here at old terminal of the Jinnah International Airport.  Sindh Local Government Minister SaeedGhani and Energy Minister Syed Nasir Shah were present on the occasion. As per agreement ASSL will ensure provision of sir ambulance facilities to the people of Sindh.

Speaking on the occasion, Ministers said as per vision of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Air Ambulance service has been started in Northern Sindh and would soon be extended to Southern parts of the province.  SaeedGhani said that the Air Ambulance project is important, through which patients from Ghotki-Sukkur and Khairpur will be transported to Karachi through Air Ambulance.

In first phase district Councils of Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur signed an agreement while other districts would soon sign such agreements with ASSL.   He said ASSL will operate 5 flights of Air Ambulance per month free of cost for shifting of serious patients to Karachi.  Ghani said this service will be extended to Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Larkana and Tharparkar.

He was of the opinion that by transporting serious patients to Karachi through Ambulance previous lives could be saved. Chairman Local Council Association Sindh Syed KumailHaider Shah and CEO Airlift Sales and Services Limited Akbar Jaffery also spoke on the occasion.
