Pro Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences said that admissions are going on in 11 academic programs in both faculties during spring admission.
He said that the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences was established in recent years according to the vision of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. After establishing this faculty, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has gained a unique position in the field of allied health sciences among universities across the province. The University Nursing College was established on direction of the Vice Chancellor and since its inception has been one of the best nursing colleges in the country. All departments of both faculties have experienced teachers with Ph.D and laboratories are also equipped with modern equipment.
