The deputy Prime Minister for political affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said that the Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to rebel against the “current government and Deen [religion].”

Speaking at a gathering in Khost, Mawlawi Kabir said that the current government has been established as a result of sacrifices of the Islamic Emirate and “all tribes” of the country.

“We are protecting our religion together. Religion does not only belong to the Mullah or Taliban. It is the religion of Islam. So, we will protect the religion together. No one will be allowed to take action against the Islamic government,” he said. He once again called on the people to support the Islamic Emirate. “We consider the people who contributed to our Jihad,” Mawlawi Kabir said.

Mawlawi Kabir, Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the Islamic Emirate and Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, acting Minister of Vice and Virtue are on a visit to the southeastern provinces of the country.

Earlier, speaking at a gathering in Sheikh Zayed university of Khost, Mawlawi Kabir pledged that Afghan soil will not be used against anyone.

The deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said that the Islamic Emirate has good relations with all countries and that at least 17 Islamic Emirate’s political missions are active across the world.

Speaking at a gathering in Sheikh Zayed university of Khost, Mawlawi Kabir pledged that Afghan soil will not be used against anyone.

“We have practical political relations with Turkmenistan, Iran and Uzbekistan and we don’t have political engagement but we have trade. This move also reflects the policies of the Islamic Emirate,” he said.

He also said that the interim government is committed to keeping the balance between religious and modern education and that it will not allow the education that is contrary to Islamic ways.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir added that no government has ensured the rights of the people within the past 45 years of Afghanistan’s history as the Islamic Emirate has.

“Over history, the Afghans have not harmed anyone. It was the aliens who came to Afghanistan to harm the Afghans,” he said.

Meanwhile, speaking to the same gathering, the acting Minister of Vice and Virtue, Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, said that some circles consider the Islamic Emirate as contrary to modern education.

“God forbid, if the Islamic Emirate was against modern education, the gate of no university will be opened for you,” he said.
