Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment DG Gohar Nafees has taken notice of embezzlement of millions of rupees in Multan’s Nishtar Hospital.
In a statement issued here a spokesperson for the ACE said that DG Gohar Nafees has directed Multan Region ACE Director Haider Wattoo to thoroughly probe into the matter and finalise an investigation report within two weeks. Earlier, office-bearers of the Pakistan Medical Association including Multan President had called for a probe by ACE while addressing a press conference into the embezzlement of millions of rupees.
Commenting on the alleged misappropriation, the ACE DG said that on the request of the doctors, investigation into the embezzlement has been ordered to ascertain the facts.
