OCTOBER 7 marked one year since the Zionist aggression and terrorism on Gaza. Over the past year, despite the martyrdom of more than 42,000 Palestinians, their spirit has remained unshaken. Even after the loss of their leaders, they continue to resist Israel’s brutality, showing unwavering resilience in the face of oppression. Even after losing their leaders, they are still fighting against the brutality of Israel. Seeing the tragedies happening in Gaza, the heart cries tears of blood. As a human being, no one can remain silent on these horrific events. The leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, was also martyred and the Islamic countries that became the embodiment of helplessness are sitting in the comfort zone and evaluating these situations.
Hassan Nasrallah was not a military or political leader but a spiritual Mujahid. When Israel oppressed the Palestinians, Hassan Nasrallah proved to be a Mujahid who always stood up for them and attained the rank of a martyr. Even after his martyrdom, his mission against Zionism did not weaken. Bunker buster bombs were used to target Hassan Nasrallah. These were the US Army’s largest bunker buster bombs. The use of these bombs in densely populated areas is prohibited under the Geneva Convention. Hezbollah is a highly organized group laced with the latest missiles and weapons, and is in a strong position in Southern Lebanon and Northern Israel, where Hezbollah has defeated Israel, and Lebanon’s war front can weigh heavily on Israel.
Hassan Nasrallah was leading Hezbollah since 1992. He has played an important role in turning this organization into a political and military force. The martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah is a declaration that the war front in the Middle East has officially heated up. The issue is no longer limited to Gaza, Israel has ignited the flames of war in Lebanon as well. Before targeting Hassan Nasrallah, Israel had martyred many people by using pager and walkie-talkie attacks in Lebanon. First, Israel destroyed Gaza to eliminate Hamas, and now the genocide of the Lebanese continues, and the nations of the Middle East are watching the rain of gunpowder as spectators.
Since October 7, 2023, Muslim countries have raised their voice against Israel at every international forum. Muslim countries are also expressing concern over the recent situation in Lebanon. The United Nations has issued a warning to Israel to prevent the spread of war in the Middle East, including an appeal for a cease-fire in Gaza. However, despite the U.N.’s resolutions and the efforts of countries supporting Palestine and Lebanon, including Pakistan, the situation remains unchanged. An emergency meeting of the Security Council is also underway regarding this matter. The sparks of war have ignited in the Middle East. Israel, America and Europe have brought back the war in this region again in order to change the pattern of the entire region. After Gaza, they attacked Lebanon, and Syria may be next. Given Syria’s shared borders with Turkey, this war could also affect Turkey. If the regional countries remain silent spectators, they might be the next targets. Israel is trying hard to drag Iran into this conflict, and if the war reaches Iran, we cannot remain unaffected. If Lebanon and Syria, like Gaza, cannot defend themselves, no part of Anatolia will remain untouched by this war.
The Middle East currently faces two key fronts: one with external aggressors and the other with resistance. Western military actions have destabilized the region, targeting Iraq, Syria, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Aegean Sea. Bombs are falling on Beirut today, and could hit Damascus, Istanbul, or Tehran tomorrow. Unusual conditions grip the Aegean islands, Greece, South Syria, Lebanon, and the Mediterranean. Muslim nations must act swiftly to stop Israel’s escalating aggression, as delays will worsen the situation. Iran expressed the sentiments of the Ummah by firing 200 missiles at Israel on October 1. America’s influence in the U.N. has worsened the crisis, with Israel’s expansion backed by continued U.S. and British military aid. The West’s hypocrisy is clear, as they support Ukraine but ignore the suffering of Palestinians and Lebanese. If Israel has the right to defend itself, so do Iran, Yemen, and Lebanon. Failure to act will lead to global consequences beyond imagination.
Who will be the new President of the United States? Which party will be the next government there? It doesn’t matter because the US needs Israel to fulfill its nefarious ambitions and the services that Biden has done as the US president are in front of the whole world. The Zionist government has now spread this war to Lebanon with the genocide in Palestine in one year and the centre of this war is rapidly shifting to the north. Now other countries in the region need extraordinary preparation to avoid this war because this war will not be limited to Gaza and Lebanon. Anything is expected in the coming days. Undoubtedly, the testimony of the leader of Hezbollah has had a profound impact on the region. As a result of Netanyahu’s attack on Gaza, he openly massacred and resorted to all kinds of violence. Now this violence has turned into a large-scale terrorism.
Muslim countries must stand together against the Western aggressors who are invading their geographical borders, who have killed a million people in Iraq, devastated Afghanistan, and spread secret methods of violence in every corner of the world. The Muslim nations should respond without hesitation to every attack by Israel. The West has been taking advantage of our mutual differences and internal weaknesses for centuries to annihilate the Muslims. It is stealing the land, resources and future of the Muslims. Now people and countries will have to wake up for the protection of the region and get rid of the centuries-old neo-demographic dominance. If this does not happen, our generations will become stateless and homeless as well as lose their natural resources and freedom.
