UNTIL the beginning of 21st Century, the
huge Indian Diaspora present world-wide
was considered as a great work force, facilitating the host countries and earning huge sums for themselves and their families back home. They use to send back $billions of dollars as remittances which benefitted Indian economy and the families of Indian expatriates over the years. Being submissive, docile and extra obedient, the Indian Diaspora was greatly lauded, highly appreciated and blindly trusted by their employers which include; global financial institutions, international companies, global organizations, international media, academic institutions and even the government departments of many states. The global adequacy and international recognition of Indian Diaspora, allowed them to learn about the system under which they work and its loopholes which could be exploited at the appropriate time for the vested interests of India as per plan. They started working for their assigned jobs with more devotion and dedication so that they become matchless and unrivalled. As per UN estimates-2019, India is a leading country with over 18 million strong Diaspora present all over world. There are over 274 million expatriates present worldwide and Indians are at the top of the list.
Being a poor and developing country with 1.39 billion population, the international community has perceived that this huge Indian Diaspora is only the job seeker community, therefore, accommodated them without any reservation. The trained India Diaspora never let the host countries to know their real motives. Resultantly, this huge India Diaspora continue getting ingress deep into the affairs of the host countries for a greater role with confidence. Besides, those already working in various countries paved the way for more Indian Diaspora through a long-term planning of the Indian Government. This can be verified from the gradual increase of Indian Diaspora from last three decades. In 1990 the total world-wide presence of Indian Diaspora was 6.6 million and in 2020 it rose to over 18 million. “Indian Diaspora now comprises 6.4% of the total global migrant population” The top destination for the Indian Diaspora are the world’s richest and influential states; United States, Middle East (UAE and Saudi Arabia in particular) and European Union. People of Indian descent made up 1.3% of the US total population in 2017. From an in-depth analysis of the role of Indian Diaspora, five major areas were the target of Indian Diaspora; world-wide academic institutions and think tanks, the global finances and financial management, the international media houses, information technology and the government departments. The menial jobs and the service provisions are the cover jobs for a better impression and information gathering. Today, Indian Diaspora has a major role in almost all academic institutions of the world. Indian origin teachers are teaching at the institutions of higher learning, the middle level institutions and contributing in basic education. Besides, Indian origin researchers are working in majority of think tanks in Europe, America and even in the Middle East and ASEAN countries. This academic Indian community plays a decisive role opinion making about India, its society and culture, paving the way for Indian domination of Asian Continent and as its emergence as a global player. This academic community creeps into the minds of global students a hate culture against Islam and Muslims with increased adequacy and appreciation for Hindutva and likeminded religious and communal bigotry. The academic Indian community sponsor only Indians for the scholarships and jobs from developing world.
In collaboration with Zionist community, the Indian Diaspora is playing a major role in the management and manipulation of international finances; the financial companies, financial disbursement and financial management. Since economy and finances are backbone of global governance system, therefore, Indian Diaspora has assumed the role of world-wide financial exploitation. Indian migrants have a great role to manage and finance the international media houses which in turn accommodate and sponsor the Indian interests and opinion making in the media is dine in line with Indian policies. The global IT sector has been greatly overwhelmed by the role of Indian Diaspora. IT industry and IT-related facilities have become an essential part of our life with remote control at the hands of Indians. A sizable portion of Indian origin bureaucratic community is managing the governmental system of many countries in the world. At the level of policy formulation, the Indian Diaspora leaves a lot of incentives for the India and Indian interests. Recently, there have been some of disclosures where Indian Diaspora was found cheating the system of their host countries. These include, financial and visa frauds, planned and manifested by Indian Diaspora. Indians expatriates have attained mastery to exploit loopholes in the policies, the student visa scams, duping millions of dollars through fake ‘Call Centres’ in US and their latest presentation in Canada is ensnaring Canadians through fake tax network scam.
Canadian people termed Indian scammers as the financial terrorists. 74000 Canadian have complained against Indians for their loss of over $16 million dollars. Indian Diaspora is involved in cyber scams in Canada and some other European states. Many Indian students in UK, US, Australia, New Zealand and Canada have been found involved in visa scams, cheating the laid-down governmental policies. The findings of some inquires show that ‘Indian students and teachers are ruining academic institutions in New Zealand and elsewhere. They have been found exploiting their education system and the local students. An MP, Mr Jones explicitly said, “Students come from India have ruined many of our institutions”. Excesses of Indian Diaspora in various host countries have disturbed the local populace in countries like US, UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Today, India receives over $80 billion remittances annually from all over the world through its over 18 million strong Diaspora. This is a huge amount, contributing greatly towards Indian economic uplift. However, despite receiving such a heavy amount, Indian Diaspora is playing is damaging role by exploiting the global academic institutions, manipulating the global media, finances, IT and government functionaries. India Diaspora is slowly and gradually taking over these significant global spheres for the promotion of its interests. Through control of these zones, Indian Diaspora will be able to impose the will of New Delhi, while the host states may become immobilized to take timely counter measures.
