The Pakistan Railways Karachi has distributed soapsand masks among passengers and train staff today. The principalobjective of providing two basic Covid-19 safety items is to obstruct the spread of this pandemic during the train journey. “The masks and soaps are donated by a private firm for safety ofpassengers. We are highly thankful to the private firm and this exercisewill continue for next 10 days” said DCO Karachi NasirNazeer. He added that passengers were required to ensure implementation on SOPsen-route the journey. Besides passengers soaps were also distributedamong the coolies/porters, policemen and people employed at stalls atCantt station Karachi.
