Abbottabad police mobile App received tremendous response in the first week of its launching and more than 1,000 users have downloaded the Abbottabad police mobile app with an intimation of at least 20 unlawful activities and about criminals on which police took swift action.
12 peoples got information and help for Coronavirus and at least 45 messages were received from the general public on different issues that were resolved and actions were taken by the police. On the intimation of violation of lockdown, 168 cases were also registered and police took forceful action on the information of 20 users from different parts of Abbottabad district on some of the criminal and unlawful activities carried out by criminals.
DPO Abbottabad Javed Iqbal has lauded the efforts of the police IT department for launching and making successful the mobile app which is a people-friendly version and easy to operate and use and had asked the IT teams to add some of more links and quick solutions of some of the general public problems.
