Funeral prayer of a 5-year-old child, identified as Ibad, fell into an open manhole, leading to his untimely death, was held at Punjab Ground in Shah Faisal colony, attended by a large number of local residents and community members.
The funeral was also attended by Mohammad Farooq, Member of the Provincial Assembly from Jamaat-e-Islami, Vice Chairman Nadeem Akhtar, and other local leaders. Expressing his deep sorrow over the incident, Mohammad Farooq stated, “This is an extremely tragic incident. Such incidents are repeatedly happening in this city.
The administration is in a deep slumber while children are losing their lives.”
