The Corona Experts Advisory Group (CEAG) Punjab in its meeting held on 24/3/ 2020. The committee is of the opinion that there is insufficient scientic evidance to advise Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis (prevention) of Covid-19 disease at the moment. The committee warned that there can be serious side effects/ untowards reactions of unsupervised usage of Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.
