The focus on ‘practical approach’ goes beyond traditional classroom learning, encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. This approach not only enhances their problem-solving abilities but also instills a sense of adaptability, a crucial trait in today’s fast-paced business environment. He said some of the key skills that should be emphasized Include Critical Thinking, adaptability and resilience, Teamwork and collaboration, Digital Literacy, and leadership skills such as initiative, accountability, and the ability to inspire others are highly valued in the professional realm.
In Pakistan there exists a significant disparity between the skills being taught at universities and the skills demanded by the corporate world.
This gap highlights the need for a more comprehensive and practical approach to education that aligns with the ever-evolving demands of the professional landscape.
