Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) observed “Thanksgiving Day and Salvation Day” on Thursday at the end of the dark era of the PDM fascist and inept 16-month-long rule, which not only ruined the country economically and politically but it also destroyed the hard-earned peace due to the sheer incompetence and self-centered approach of the gang of 13 ruling parties.
PTI issued a brief overview of PDM’s one-and-a-half-year brutal rule on the occasion when the entire nation was observing “Thanksgiving Day” after Allah Almighty liberated them from the criminal and crooked rulers. PTI spokesperson said that as the dark era eventually came to an end, the nation should be given the constitutional right to elect its representatives through free, fair and transparent elections.
He said that the group of criminals set the darkest examples of political revenge during its worst government of one and a half year, adding that elections were not held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in sheer violation of the constitution. PTI spokesperson lamented that the status of Supreme Court and High Courts were destroyed, as these thugs did not implement their decisions.
He went on to say that all institutions including the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the bureaucracy were politicized to such an extent that the people lost their trust in them. He stated that barbarism of the crooked rulers could be judged from the fact that around 17,000 political workers were unlawfully detained and subjected to worst torture.
The PDM government imposed on the nation by overthrowing an elected democratic government through conspiracy ruined the economy growing at an annual rate of 6 percent, he added. PTI spokesperson noted that PDM baldy exposed before the nation due to its incompetence and follies, besides crushing the masses under the burden of record and back-breaking inflation, adding that the prices of food items, petrol, gas and electricity witnessed an exorbitant escalation during the last 16 months.
