Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday termed consensus on the matter of Chief Election Commissioner’s (CEC) appointment as a big success. The federal minister took to Twitter and said the cooperative atmosphere which had developed from amendment bills concerning the Army Act is continuing in a great manner. Fawad Chaudhry said the next step is to reach consensus over the accountability process, and negotiations in this regard are ongoing in a fine way. Political differences do not harm if we do major reforms, he concluded.—INP
