The police and narcotics eradication team arrested eight drug pushers besides recovering huge quantity of narcotics, other material and seized two vehicles during raid on a heroin factory here on Wednesday. According to details, on a tip-off, the police and narcotics eradication team conducted joint raid on a heroin factory established in house in Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
During operation, eight drug peddler hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab were arrested besides recovery of more than 44 kilogram heroin.
The police also took into custody digital scale, mixture, chemical, other material, motor car and mazda van from the office. SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed said that the recovered heroin was being smuggled to Punjab but timely action foiled the bid.
