The 49th convocation of Government Postgraduate College No. 1 for Boys, Abbottabad was held here on Saturday. Special Assistant to Chief Minster for Higher Education Kamran Banagash, KP Higher Education Director Prof. Zahoor ul Haque and Vice Chancellor, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) Prof. Dr. Tahir Irfan Khan attended the ceremony.
As per details, it was organized to award degrees, rolls of honour and merit certificates to the BS and MA/M.Sc graduates of different disciplines. A total of 300 graduates were conferred degrees by Special Assistant to Chief Minster for Higher Education Kamran Banagash, who was the chief guest of the ceremony.
As many as 200 degrees were presented to the students of MA & M.Sc and 100 degrees to the students of Bachelor of studies while Roll of honours, merit certificates and medals were also awarded to the students who excelled in university examinations.
