PEMRA Chairman Muhammad Saleem Baig on Saturday visited Sundas Foundation and went around different section to learn about functioning of the foundation first-hand.
Director Sundas Foundation Khalid Abbas Dar presented a bouquet to the Pemara chairman. During the visit, Mr Baig enquired about the health of Thalassaemia, Hemophilia and other blood disorders patients and also distributed gifts to them.
He appreciated the Sundas Foundation for establishing state-of-the-art Thalassaemia centre, catering to the needs of thousands of people across Punjab.
He lauded the screening system on the most advance equipment and treatment facilities under the highly trained doctors and medical staff. He further expressed his satisfaction over extending quality treatment facilities.
He stressed the need for people to get their Thalassaemia carrier test done before marriage so that the society can be prevented from the fatal disease.
President Sundas Foundation Yaseen Khan, Director Khalid Abbas Dar, Ali Rauf, Asif Affan and other staff of the foundation was also present on the occasion.
