Siraj urges govt to end discrimination towards religious seminaries

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Senator Sirajul Haq has asked the government to end discrimination towards religious seminaries and fix funds for them in annual allocations for educations sectors. Addressing a gathering of religious scholars at Markz-e-Islami Peshawar on Monday, he said, “Madaris are providing free education, food and shelters to more than 3 million students but the government never paid attention towards their betterment and always treated them like step-mother.”—INP
