The Sindh Health Department has sacked 78 employees after a National Accountability Bureau investigation revealed that the district health officer hired them in 2013 without notifying the health secretary. The workers let go are Grade 1 till 9 officers. In a report, NAB declared their appointments illegal. The bureau has filed a reference against the DHO in an accountability court.
