LAHORE – The second-generation Suzuki swift was launched in 2004 but was introduced to Pakistan only in 2010. Since then its charisma has not been subdued.
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has been successful enough to cater to the high demands of people even after a decade of its launch while skipping the third-generation swift altogether.
After months of speculations, it has been confirmed that the automaker will introduce 4th gen Suzuki Swift in Pakistan. The vehicle is expected to be launched in the second half of the year 2021 and by the end of the year, it will be available for sale.
Nevertheless, only a few details have been revealed including the Suzuki’s K 12m engine which is a 1.2 litre and naturally aspirated. It is also likely that the vehicle will get a 4-cylinder, 113nm of torque and a petrol-powered unit that makes 82 hp.
After working for decades, PSMC has developed quite a reputation for itself and it is predicted that their popularity is only going to grow once the new Swift makes its way into the country.
