21 uplift projects of Rs.27527.965m in progress in Attock

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Mr. Liaquat Ali Chatta on Thursday during his inspection of district Attock has directed the district administration Attock and heads of all relevant provincial departments to provide maximum relief to the people by mobilizing all available resources in the public interest.

On this occasion DC Attock Rao Atif Raza highlighting the salient features of the development schemes has said that works on 21 development projects of Rs.27527.965 million are going on at different parts of the district. He said that allocated amount of Rs.1023.957 million for 26 schemes of highways department, 22 schemes of buildings department with cost of Rs.2487.363 million, 07 schemes of Rs1426.304 for public health, 02 schemes of Rs.135 million for local government will be utilized for completion of these projects in due course of time.

He also told that the targets for revenue collection will be achieved during this year. Earlier, Commissioner Rawalpindi Mr. Liaquat Ali Chatta also inaugurated the establishment of gym club with the ray hope of healthy change among the people. He said that such kind of gym clubs had also been running in Sargodha, Faisalabad, DG Khan and Gujrat with the cooperation of private sector successfully.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Rawalpindi while addressing the lambardar convention in Jinnah Hall Attock has also assured all possible assistance to fulfil the genuine demands of the lambardars within a period one month, he added.

Commissioner Rawalpindi also accompanied by Additional Commissioner Revenue Rawalpindi Ms. Kinza Murtaza, Additional Commissioner Consolidation Rawalpindi Chaudhary Abdul Majid, DC Attock Rao Atif Raza, DDR Attock Mr. Shahzad Niaz and other officers of the Punjab Government.
