According to reports, five robbers raped a woman in Manga Mandi, a woman was raped by three robbers in Sargodha in front of her children and husband, four robbers raped a woman in Okara during robbery, In Jalalpur Jattan woman was raped in front of husband.
A quack raped a women in Gujranwala when she came to him to get medicine. While in Chichawatni and Gujarat 2 girls, Faisalabad, Basirpur 3 boys were abused by the rapists. Cases were registered and several accused were arrested. The Punjab Chief Minister took notice of the rape of a woman during a robbery in Okara and demanded a report from RPO Sahiwal. The Chief Minister also took notice of the gang rape case of a 17-year-old girl (A) in Malikwal six month ago.
A per details four dacoits broke into the house of Raza Hasnain, a laborer in Dera Aslam Haral of Ghola village in the limits of Midh Ranjha Sargodha, took the woman along with her husband and children to the roof and raped her. After looting jewelery and Rs 20,000 cash, the woman was once again raped in the garden of her house and fled.
In Manga Mandi area of Lahore, five persons fled after gang-raping the woman. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition, police arrested the named accused in the light of the victim’s statement.
The victim was shifted to the hospital. The victim alleged that the accused named Zafar Iqbal, Rashid Ali, Khalid Mahmood, Syed Nazim and Faiz Ahmed had raped her. Police have arrested the named accused in the light of the victim’s statement. A police spokesman said the case would be registered after the woman’s medical examination. At around 11 pm near Kotla Suiyan village on the outskirts of Jalalpur Jattan police station, a couple from a nearby village were on their way to their relatives when three dacoits stopped them and threatened to kill them and snatched jewelery from a 40 years old woman.
As a result of which both her ears were injured. When the woman resisted in the desert dacoits tortured her husband and severely injured him. In his presence, the woman was tied with ropes and subjected to alleged gang rape throughout the night. In another incident a woman went to the clinic of a quack in (B) Mohalla of Sensara Goraiya area of Saddar area of Gujranwala police station to take medicine. The quack gave her intoxicant and after making her unconscious not only raped her but also made her video to blackmail her.
