Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 10 outlaws including four professional baggers from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered stolen valuables, drugs and weapons from their possession, a public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City
Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Bani Gala police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Khizer and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Phulgran police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Arshad and Nazakat and recovered 260 gram heroin and stolen
valuables from their possession. Likewise, the Noon police team arrested two accused namely Jameel and Abdullah and recovered one rifle and one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from their possession. The Shahzad Town police team arrested an accused namely Sajid and recovered a stolen motorbike and one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the ongoing crackdown against professional baggers, the Islamabad Capital Police arrested four professional baggers from various areas of the city.
