Zulfiqar Shah meets with poets for 29 th Aalami Mushaira

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism, held a meeting with a delegation of poets led by Mahmood Ahmed Khan. During the meeting, the delegation extended an invitation for the 29th International Poetry Symposium (Alaami Mushaira) to be held at Expo Center on April 20. Chief Organizer Mahmood Ahmed Khan briefed Minister Shah on the details of the event, emphasizing its international and national significance as a gathering of renowned poets from around the world, alongside local participants. Expressing the Sindh government’s commitment to promoting literary and cultural activities, Minister Shah highlighted the initiatives undertaken to foster artistic endeavors in the province. He emphasized how the hosting of literary and cultural events in Karachi has portrayed the city in a positive light on the global literary scene.

The annual International Poetry Symposium organized in Karachi under the auspices of the residents of Quaid City serves as a significant and positive endeavor to promote arts and culture, Minister Shah remarked. Members of the delegation included Khalid Jameel Shamsi, Zafar Nadeem Siddiqui, Tauqeer A. Khan, Dr. Shabir Arain, and Jamal Azhar.
