In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the youth wing of Indian National Congress in Poonch district of the territory staged a protest demonstration against Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government.
According to Kashmir Media Service, led by Uday Chib, president J&K Youth Congress, the activists assembled near Dak Bungalow in Poonch and raised slogans against the BJP government.
Talking to reporters on the occasion, Chib said that the BJP-led government in New Delhi had caused the greatest embitterment in the hearts and minds of the Kashmiri people by repealing the special status of IIOJK and dividing it into two union territories. He said that the Kashmiris feel humiliated, disparaged and offended.
Chib warned the BJP government not to take people of IIOJK for granted and restore statehood of the territory without wasting.—KMS
