Mohammad Abdullah Gul chairman Tehreek- e- Jawanan Pakistan and Kashmir (TJP) said in his statement while marking black day in solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir said that the world must understand that India is on the wrong side of the history. It is high time to give India a shut up message with strong voice.
The government of Pakistan cannot compromise on Kashmir issue at any cost. It is right decision of the government to downgrade diplomatic ties with India. It is high time for international community to intervene and resolve the matter on immediate basis.
The international community seems quiet on the issue and not taking enough steps to exert pressure on India.
He further said that we welcome the step of an international non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch those has demanded the India to lift the communication blackout and curfew and step back in occupied Kashmir.
In a report, the HRW South Asia Director Meanakshi Ganguly revealed that Kashmiris have force to live under lockdown and their leaders have been arrested while families have been unable to contact their loved ones.
He also welcome stance of OIC who demanded to Indian government to lift curfew in occupied Kashmir to reconsider his decision and normalize the human life.—PR
