A woman among three was killed and another woman was killed in separate incidents in different localities of Faisalabad on Sunday, police said.
According to details, in Chak No. 225/RB Ahmed Nagar, accused Gulfam strangled his wife Maham 35, over suspicion of illicit relations. Police arrested the culprit.
In Chak No. 474-GB, Abid Ali residing near Bhutta Stop Jhang attacked his wife Shama with sickle injuring her critically over domestic disputes. The accused was held by local people and handed over to police.
Sher Ali 35, injured in collision between two over speeding motorcycles in Chak No. 236-RB expired during treatment at Allied Hospital. Police after registering separate cases in all incidents at concerned police stations started investigations.
A youth died of snakebite in Mandi Usmanwala area here on Sunday. Meanwhile police said that Ghulam Rasool Arain,26, of Mandu Usmanwala was watering the fields when a snake stung him. He died on the spot. The police handed over the body to his heirs.
Meanwhile, a married woman committed suicide over domestic problems in the limits of Allahabad police station. Police said Fatima Bibi,30, wife of Muhammad Amin Rehmani, resident of Babr Khai ended her life by taking poisonous pills. Police were investigating.
