WKF, Friends of Kashmir join hands in fight for Kashmiris’ rights

The World Kashmir Forum (WKF) and Friends of Kashmir have announced a joint global struggle against the ongoing Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, the state lockdown in the valley and human rights violations there. Both the organizations have also demanded the government of Pakistan to take practical steps now along with issuing condemnation statements, otherwise there is a danger of Kashmiris becoming a minority in the occupied valley due to Indian occupying policies. World Kashmir Forum Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi and General Secretary former attorney general Justice (Retd) Anwar Mansoor Khan hosted a reception in honour of Chairperson Friends of Kashmir, Poet and Intellectual Ghazala Habib here on Tuesday. It is pertinent to mention that FoK is a US based organisation. Talking at the occasion, she said that she would make efforts to intensify the struggle for the Kashmir cause in collaboration with the World Kashmir Forum. She said the government of Pakistan was making just verbal efforts as it was high time that Pakistan take immediate practical steps to get Kashmiris the right to self-determination. Chairman World Kashmir Forum Haji Rafique Pardesi said that the blood of oppressed Kashmiris would not go in vain. “The struggle is difficult but not impossible, however, more work is needed,” he reaffirmed. Anwar Mansoor Khan was of the view that the WKF would now work with the Friends of Kashmir to take the Kashmir issue to the global stage. Rashid Alam, WKF Joint Secretary, Rafiq Suleiman, leading fashion designer Nadeem Moazji, Mahmood Ahmad Khan from Star Marketing, senior journalists Amin Yousuf, Asif Sheikh, Akhtar Shaheen Rind, Aleem Nawab Khan, Zia Qureshi, writer and poet Owais Adib Ansari, Kashmiri leader Sardar Maqbool Zaman, Hasnain Pardesi, Umair Pardesi, Shahid Rasool, educationist Mansoor Qadri and others were also present at the gathering.
