A well-known clothing brand, from whose custody a ware house was retrieved by Karachi railways just five days ago, tried to recapture the retrieved land from the custody of Pakistan Railways Police. Hundreds of armed men supported by Malir police attacked the retrieved godown and climbed its entrance gate, the statement issued by Pakistan Railways said on Friday. It added that an unprecedented situation happened as Railways’ and provincial police appeared in a direct face-off position with each other at the site. Pakistan Railways successfully thwarted the attempt as armed men were ejected from the warehouse in Jumma goth. The DS Karachi Railways Arshad Salam terminated his ongoing visit of Port Qasim with the railways minister and reached the operation area along with his officers.
