KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh during the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting the upper parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh including Karachi, and Hyderabad on Sunday night and the following two days.
Fog/smog is likely in Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan during morning and night hours.
Moderate to dense fog may disturb vehicular movement on inter and intra-city roads in upper Sindh.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Monday and 13-15 C on Tuesday.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 C on Monday and 12-14 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 07 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 33 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 31 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 36 per cent.
