KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of Sindh during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
A shallow westerly wave is likely to enter the western parts of the country tonight.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad on Friday evening/night and during the weekend.
Fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan during morning and night hours.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 14-16 C on Sunday.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 12-14 C on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Fog disturbed normal vehicular movement in upper districts.
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 05 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 93 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 47 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 64 per cent.
