Sindh government spokesman and Advisor on Law and Environment Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday requested the people to stay at home for fourteen days. During a press conference, Barrister Murtaza Wahab asked people to self-quarantine for 14 days for the prevention from deadly coronavirus in the province. If you want to help the government, just quarantine yourself instead of going on vacations, he asked. The advisor told media that fifty percent pilgrims coming from Taftan border were tested positive for the virus. The victims are being kept in isolation ward for treatment, he told. Wahab urged federal government to take serious steps for curbing the spread of coronavirus as it is a long process and they need to cope with it. The provincial government has not taken any decision regarding closing the hospitals, he added. It is to note that National Coordination Committee on the Coronavirus is also going to consider closing off Sindh from the rest of Pakistan by sealing its interprovincial borders due to massive increase in coronavirus cases in the province.
