The exchange rate of US Dollar strengthened by 49 paisa in the interbank on Monday against Pakistani rupee.
The greenback closed at 167.47 rupees on first business day of the week. It had closed at Rs166.98 in the interbank market on Thursday.
On the other hand, yields of bonds at secondary market increased by 40 basis points and yields on three, five and 10 years bonds increased sharply.
