Director General of National Language Promotion Department (NLPD), Islamabad, Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar visited Urdu Science Board (USB). The USB director Ziaullah Khan Toru and the staff warmly welcomed the DG NLPD. The DG presided over a meeting and reviewed the progress of the institution. The USB director briefed the NLPD DG on future publication plans and the initiatives taken for intensive marketing of books and income generation. Deputy Director Ashfaq Khan, Deputy Director Academics Amin Akhtar and officers of all departments concerned participated in the meeting. Ziaullah Khan Toru, while briefing the DG, said that steps were being taken to increase the publications, marketing and sales of the books of the board as well as to improve.
