On the directives of Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD) has written letters to all General Public Universities in Sindh, asking them to establish Special Education Department in their respective universities.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that due to establishment of Special Education Department in General Public Universities in Sindh will help special students in particular and normal students in general to get education in relevant fields.
Meanwhile on the directives of Special Assistant to CM, DEPD has also written a letter to PD Hepatitis Control Program Sindh to provide vaccination of Hepatitis-B for the children with disabilities along with staff in Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Centres across the province.—INP
