Two persons, allegedly involved in snatching on gun point, were arrested by the City Police and recovered 30 mobile phones, an amount of Rs. 113000 and weapons from their possession, informed police spokesman on Saturday.
The arrested persons, during preliminary investigation, have confessed to commit several snatching incidents on Murree road, City, Waris Khan, Ganj Mandi, New Town, GPO Chowk and surrounding are-
as.
City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younas appreciated the teams and directed to carry out operation against anti social elements adding that such elements must not be spared.
Meanwhile, Raw-alpindi Police on Saturday rounded up seven alleged gamblers and recovered cash, gambling tools and weapons from their possession.
