Three persons including a man and son were killed during a shootout between two groups over the abduction of a girl, the police informed on Sunday.
According to police officials, the incident occurred in Pakpattan over an issue of a girl’s abduction.

On information, the police reached the crime scene and shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital Pakpattan for medico-legal formalities.
The police have started collecting evidence and have launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, a child was killed in jubilation firing during a wedding ceremony here on Sunday.
According to details, the incident took place in Dera Farooqia area of Bhakki Town in Sheikhupura where heavy aerial firing was witnessed during a wedding ceremony.
Meanwhile, a bullet hit 10-year-old Abdullah injuring him critically.
He was being taken to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital but he succumbed to his wounds. The police have arrested accused of the aerial firing and registered a case.
