Taliban security authorities in Paktika province say they have rescued a minor girl from kidnappers in Sharana, the central district of province.
The girl was kidnapped in Mutakhan district, according to the Bakhtar news agency, citing the security chief of the Taliban police headquarters in Paktika. According to him, the kidnappers clothed the girl in boys clothes and cut her hair short. The girl was rescued in Sharana, the provincial capital, according to a spokesman for the Taliban’s Paktika police chief, but no arrests were made.
