On the invitation of Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, the spiritual leader of the DawoodiBohra community, SyednaMufaddalSaifuddin, visited the Governor House. During a one-on-one meeting, discussions focused on his visit to Pakistan, promoting religious harmony and tolerance during Muharram gatherings. SyednaSaifuddin announced the donation of 100 laptops for IT students participating in the Governor’s initiative at the Governor House.
He also offered prayers for Governor Tessori’s welfare initiatives, praising his efforts as commendable and encouraging continuous service to the people, which he described as a divine mission. Upon his arrival at the Governor House, scouts showered SyednaSaifuddin with flowers, and he received a salute from the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Police bands. Governor Tessori warmly welcomed him, presenting gifts of a shawl and a rosary.
Later, SyednaSaifuddin met with a 10-member delegation to discuss the DawoodiBohra community’s role in the national economy and fostering religious harmony. Governor Tessori expressed gratitude for SyednaSaifuddin’s visit, especially during Muharram, anticipating that his teachings would promote unity and tolerance.
He extended an invitation for annual visits during Muharram. SyednaSaifuddin expressed his joy at visiting Pakistan and appreciation for the hospitality and ceremonial welcome. In a media interaction, Governor Tessori highlighted the significance of SyednaSaifuddin’s visit, noting the economic boost from over 50,000 DawoodiBohra community members visiting Pakistan. He acknowledged SyednaSaifuddin’s previous visit in 2017 and his continuous prayers for Pakistan’s prosperity and security.
MQM Pakistan leader AnisQaimkhani was also present during the event. Governor Tessori emphasized that SyednaSaifuddin appreciated the ongoing IT classes at the Governor House and donated 100 laptops to the students. SyednaSaifuddin prayed for Pakistan’s improved conditions, expressing hope for the country’s swift recovery. He also mentioned establishing an interest-free trust, inviting global community contributions.
